Our Fourth of July started with a parade down main street in Ochelata, OK. This is the third year we've been able to be part of the July 4th celebration in Ochelata...it's truly what the heart of America is made of...small town, friendly people, baseball, apple pie...you get the picture! After the parade, we had a fantastic cook-out at Aunt Becky and Uncle Jerry's house. Then, the baseball tournament began, followed by fireworks later that night. The day was spent going back and forth from the house to the ball field, eating, chatting, eating, chatting, eating...what a perfect day!

Aunt Becky and Uncle Jerry fixed this float for the little Ochelata Fourth of July parade. All their grandchildren rode on it, and Zach joined in for the fun. I didn't get a great picture, but you get the idea! It was very cute!

My mom, dad, and Payton enjoyed a little time together watching Robb and Chad play baseball.
I didn't think Payton would like the fireworks, since last time we saw some, she got really scared. But, she was pretty fascinated!!!
We were able to spend a little time at my grandparents in Ochelata. Payton had lots of smiles for Memaw and Papaw!!! Memaw rocked her and sang to her...Payton especially loved that!
