The celebration continues!!!

On Payton's actual birthday, a couple of her little friends came over to play for a little while. Grace and Zachary helped make her morning extra fun!

We went to my mom's for dinner, and she had a little gift for Payton.

Then, we skyped with my brother and his family. Zach was excited to tell Payton "Happy Birthday"! It's so nice to be able to do this, since we live so far away!

We saved a cupcake for Payton for her birthday, but it got too late that night, so we did it the next day, when she could enjoy it more.

One Week Old

One year ago was the most amazing day of our lives. We humbly accepted a wonderful, wonderful gift from God, in the form of a beautiful, healthy baby girl. Payton Ranae Huff was born on January 21st, 2008 at 10:55 p.m. She was 7 pounds 11 ounces, and 21 1/2 inches long. While she had made her way into our hearts from the moment we discovered that I was expecting, something about holding that tiny, pink, perfect bundle brought an overwhelming sense of love, joy, peace, and sheer fulfillment into our hearts and minds. Since that day, one year ago, we have enjoyed watching our baby grow into the bouncing, joyful one-year-old she is today! Payton daily brings laughter and joy into our lives. Her happy and humorous personality keep us smiling, and her strong personality keeps us on our toes! Here is a photographic journal of the most incredible 12 months of our lives!

Here are a few pictures from the weekend...enjoy!

Payton loves the new riding toy she got for her birthday from her Nana and Grandpa! She jigs right along to the music it plays...and she moves with the steady beat!!!

She hasn't gotten to wear this outfit very many times, as it has been an unusually warm winter. But with a nice cool front moving through, it was perfect for church last night! I just had to grab a few pictures!

She is really starting to "get into" books! I have found her this way several times recently!

She recently discovered the piano...and LOVES it!

This sure makes her pianist Daddy very proud!

Saturday night, after her party, we had a great time "discovering" her new toys with her. She loves the "Little People" dollhouse we got her and has been playing with it a lot the last couple of days.

The doorbell actually rings, the toilet "flushes", and the phone "rings"...she loves pushing all the buttons!
